| Books have been my lifelong passion. First a a reader, then as a photographer. Like you, I don't live in a chateau with acres of wall space on which to hang hundreds of paintings and photos. But I have found that collecting art and photo books is infinitely satisfying. And so is the creation of photo books. To date I have published three books of landscape photography, but all three are now out of print. And while I am currently working on a number of new photo book projects, in the meantime, I have become terribly excited about a new form of photo book — the eBook. | What exactly are electronic photo books?
This new genre has been explored and developed by the innovative Mexican photogrpher, Pedro Meyer who has pioneered this form of breakthough low-cost, world-wide photo publishing on his web site, zonezero.com. These "books" are, in reality, beautifully illustrated pdf files that behave just like coffee-table photo books on your computer screen. Once downloaded, they are yours, to browse through and enjoy at your leisure. Other electronic photo books that I am planning to publish and distribute through this site will include reissues of my earlier but now out-of-print photo books. And also new titles and monographs on subjects dear to my heart, yet perhaps lacking a wide enough audience to justify the expense of printing many thousands of copies.
